So anyone that’s heard me talk on the podcast, or had a conversation with me about protecting their iPhone knows I’m a huge fan and believer in the protection offered by InvisibleShield as well as BestSkinsEver. Granted I have a few other cases and they have their uses – for example the iPhone Defender from Otterbox is the first thing I’m packing on my trip to Florida this weekend – but the one “case” that is always on my iPhone is the InvisibleShield. So naturally the first person Patrick thought to send this announcement from Case-Mate to was me.

Now – I’m not going to get into a debate with anyone about which company is best to buy from. I own a skin from InvisibleShield for my iPhone, I’ve got a BestSkinsEver skin on the iPod Touch and each has their own good and bad qualities. What I will say that is going to differentiate case-mate in this game is that for the $19.99 price tag they are not sending just one – but two skins. Now, for something that’s about as close to indestructible as can be, why would you want two? Well, I know more than a few people who have hosed up the first install so bad that they wished they had a second (note: follow the instructions and its not bad at all)… and second if you do take it off as I just did for my trip, its always nice to start with a brand new one when you re-apply later.
