But, that skidding action that normally tears a screen up after a drop would be well protected against. To be honest, while a drop is always possible, the skinds we’re talking about here are really grippy so I don’t typically worry too much about it.

@macgirl – The orange peel effect was really annoying at first. But after about 2 days I didn’t “see” it anymore. Its obviously still there but I don’t see it. I guess the eyes adjust to it and after a short while it isn’t something that catches the eye anymore. As for the corners: if you follow the instructions and really take your time its almost a non-event. They take some work to get right, but if you’re willing to put in the effort its definitely worth the improved outcome.

Hopefully we can get one to review… Cough Patrick Cough

I’m happy with it.

I decided for the case instead of just front side shield because: It add protection to the edges, so if I drop the iPhone, it absorbs the impact doing no harm do the iPhone; it doesn’t fall from my pocket when I’m using shorts; it doesn’t slip from my hands when I use both thumbs to write.

But it has some cons too: the iPhone doesn’t look as good, and it looks bigger in your pocket.

I was really attracted by that invisible shield video, because it protects the edges and add some extra grip, keep the iPhone beauty. I’m really considering about changing. But still don’t feel secure about what will happen if it falls from my hand. Will it absorb the impact as well as the rubber case? Does anyone owns one to tell if it’s as good as it look on the video?
