Gear Diary Likes The Juice Pack for the iPhone

Our buddy Wayne over at Gear Diary has had iPhone battery life concerns on his mind for quite a while, in regards to both the existing V1 iPhone and the upcoming iPhone 3G models.

Like the rest of us, he’s recently had to resign himself to hearing that the 3G model still won’t feature a removable battery – and that’s got him even more in the mood to check out some power-adding alternatives for the iPhone.  Today he’s posted a review of the Mophie Juice Pack extended battery pack for the iPhone, and it’s a good one …

The good news is Wayne found a lot to like about the Mophie Juice Pack – from its weight and comfort of having it on the iPhone like a case, to a solid-sounding performance that nearly matches up to some big claims for just how much extra juice it serves up to the iPhone.

Think of this more as a combination case and battery charger than a simple extended battery.I do NOT think it is too heavy or bulky. I rather liked the the case made my iPhone a little bigger and easier to carry and grip.

If you’re thinking about iPhone battery extension options, it’s worth giving Wayne’s review a once over at:
