If I use anything–type an email, listen to a few minutes of tunes, whatever, battery life cascades from 99% to 85% in no time flat. Then if I don’t charge it, indicator shows life don’t to 65% in less than 2 hours. In fact, after charging all night, and just from being on this site and typing this note, I’ve gone from 100% down to 95%! Pretty annoying and a big issue for me since I’m untethered most of the day.

I am a big user. All day long, txt, emails, internet, phone. Then I purchased a 3G to upgrade. I was very dissatisfied and return the phone due to the poor battery life. They need to fix that problem. It was a true deal breaker for me and I am back to my old iphone in hopes that they will fix the problem with the next Iphone release.

Still the battery life has been impressive compared to the iPhone 2G. Only 20% used in a day considering my heavy usage in the first day.

Maybe its just after using the iPhone 2G for a year, I’m used to the crap battery life / daily charge lifestyle.
