BossPrefs Updated – Adds Power Management & Poof (Hide Icons) Features to Its Dock

BossPrefs – one of the best and most essential iPhone utility programs – has got a major update today and added some major features that allow you to consolidate the number of apps needed for some common / popular tasks.

BossPrefs already provided an easy and convenient way to toggle On and Off many of the iPhone’s key services – like Bluetooth, WiFi and SSH.  This has been a hugely useful function as using these services only when needed can help maintain much better battery life and help security-wise in the case of the SSH service.

Today’s update – to Version 1.69 – now incorporates Poof (hide program icons) and power management features into the app’s main dock area.  So right from the main screen you can go to power management to invoke a quick respring, a full respring, or a reboot / power off. 

You can also jump out to the Poof section with one tap, where you can choose to hide any of your installed apps icons, to save space and reduce clutter on your home screens.

Having these new features built right into the dock of BossPrefs makes it easier to consider eliminating the need for other, standalone programs to serve just these purposes.

The short story – one of the iPhone’s very best and most useful apps just got a fair bit better …
