An Overdue Welcome for a Great New iPhone Site

I’ve been catching up on so much news and general stuff over the last several days, after a little bit of unwanted downtime, that I’m way overdue on doing this post to talk about a great new iPhone site that launched a couple of weeks back – What’s On iPhone … dot.com.

Many of you may have been wondering where my colleague Dan’s posts have gone to over recent days.  Well, Dan is one of the founders and primary writers on What’s On iPhone, so he has been incredibly busy in all the right and fun sort of ways as the new site gets up and running.  The new site has as its mission:

  • To keep you up to date on the latest and greatest iPhone apps.
  • To review newly released apps so that you can decide if they might be worth your time and money.
  • To become the place where the iPhone community can share their experiences, their recommendations, their tips and their tricks.

So .. a lot of that is very much the same ground we cover here at Just Another iPhone Blog, which some might say would make us rival sites.  I’d say not a bit of it!  Fact is, I don’t just read this site, I read many good iPhone and general mobile sites every day – and I imagine most of you are the same, having a multitude of good sources you look to regularly for your iPhone / mobile / tech etc. news each day.

Dan’s new site is already very much a favorite for me.  I check it daily.  I have always very much enjoyed Dan’s take on the iPhone and all the subjects around it that we cover – and I’m looking forward to following, linking to, and often trading ideas and reactions on all of the great coverage we’ll see over at What’s On iPhone.

Oh, and there’s one extra bit of very good news to share on this subject.  Since there are a couple of areas where our sites don’t fully overlap, Dan will still be contributing the occasional accessory review or similar sort of post right here at this blog. 

I’m already a big fan of What’s On iPhone, and I hope all of you will get a chance to check it out, enjoy it, and catch up with Dan over at:
