Yesterday Apple released the iPhone SDK Beta 8 – build 9m2199 – to Developers. The new version is available from Apple’s iPhone Developer Connection, and is 1.25 GB in size. According to developers, this release it more stable than previous releases of the SDK.
This build includes the iPhone software revision 5a345 as well as a developer version of iTunes 7.7, which Apple describes as “The Developer release of the latest version of iTunes, allowing you to install iPhone OS Beta 8 on your Apple devices.”
In addition to the release, any iPhone Beta Certificates issued before June 9th have expired. Now, all applications must be associated with a Beta Certificate issues after June 9th in order to function on the iPhone.
