MyBattery – Simple Battery Tracking App

Ever find it frustrating that the iPhone doesn’t present you with an exact number / percentage of remaining battery charge?
MyBattery is simple new app that gives you just that handy piece of missing information in a clean little package.
The app shows you a graphical representation of how full the battery is (much like the one seen on the Slide To Unlock screen), as well as offering a percentage figure in text just below the battery graphic – as you can see in the screencap above.
MyBattery refreshes every 10 seconds while you have it open, so it’s not a good one to leave open for long stretches if you don’t want to drain your battery unduly while checking on it (though I can’t imagine why you would keep it open more than a quick few secs).
I’ve been using this app for a few days and found it quite accurate so far – it has indicated low charge right when the iPhone kicks in with warnings, for example. The only thing that has not worked as expected thus far is its Settings button – when pressed, this does nothing for me so far.
MyBattery is out on Installer now, and should not require any additional sources be installed in order to get it.
