so, like the iphone is like the best thing in the world. i had all the iphones and this one is just amzing. i love it so much! and i have 2 phones the iphone 4 and the blackberry tour and i have to say that the ipohne is so much better. i use the blackberry for my bussniess and but wow i rather just have the iphone. also , i just brought 2 ipads for 900$ and wow i love it! Apple is amazing and theere amazing ideads are awesomw! loveee!

btw i use a blackberry and if this came i would TOTALLY switch over, but one thing that stops me from getting a iphone now is that the service carriers arnts much to choose from X_X…

Full keypad HEAVEN! Touch screen isnt as cool as it sounds… people like ME would like to feel some buttons from time to time… if this came out id buy THREE! But i wonder how thick this phone is going to be… otherwise AWESOME idea

I would buy the iphone in a second if the added a slide out key board. I like my HTC Touch Pro but would prefer an iphone on the sprint network of course AT&T stinks with service in southern california.

Please Mr Jobs…slide out a key board for me I want an iphone…in fact I will buy 3.

I didn’t buy an I Phone because it lacked a real keyboard. When I tested on out I kept hitting wrong keys when texting. If the I Phone can’t do simple everyday things like texting who cares what else it can do.

It is about time they put a keyboard on it…low end entry level phone like the Quickfire have a touch screen and keyboard why not the I phone?

I will definitely buy an iphone if it has the option for a physical qwerty board. I’ve gotten so used to my Crackberry that when I tried using my friend’s iphone, I loved all the other touch screen uses except for the touch screen keyboard.

I know of a few business friends who were so eager for an iphone and got rid of their blackberry that when they got their iphones. However, they returned back to BB because they missed the feel of the physical qwerty keyboard Blackberry offered.

I don’t see why not? If you want a touch screen, purchase that one. If you rather have a slider, purchase that one. It only seems to make sense to have both options available.

The biggest problem for me with the iPhone’s touchscreen keyboard is it somethings gets kind of laggy. I’ll hit a key and it will only pop up and click 1 second or two later. This just doesn’t happen with the physical keyboard on a BB. I want typing to be responsive. Sometimes the iPhone isn’t very responsive. A physical keyboard could also be bigger (as the picture suggests) and would leave more room for displaying the message on the screen.

Why not just enable a bluetooth keyboard interface?
Use any bluetooth keyboard you want. I don’t understand why bluetooth has been so crippled on the iiphone/Touch.

Well I suppose it couldn’t hurt to test it… What if the second keyboard was a touchscreen as well? I’d just prefer a wider phone, maybe foldable; I’m writing on the touchscreen keyboard right now (and rather fast). In the end I see only see one solution for this: roll-up iPhones. Yes it’s possible and no I’m not kidding. 😉
