Alright, so I’ve got me a set of iPhone back covers from JAVOedge and I’m saying to myself … self, how can I best give a review of these things? I mean lets be honest (with myself) there’s not a whole lot you can say to make something like a case (or half of one) into a multipage, super long review like you can with say something like the iPhone itself. So, I say to myself … why not just do a quick look at the back covers and then plaster a ton of images up so the people can look and talk to themselves about it?
So that’s what I’m going to do. I’ve got a bunch of pictures taken with the various back covers (I’ve got 7 of em) and I’m just going to lay them out there for you see. First though I’m going to subject you to my thoughts about the covers…

Quick Review:
There’s really nothing fancy or overly spectacular about these covers. Truth be told – there doesn’t need to be. Why? Well think about it – these covers are designed to hang on tight to your iPhone, help you keep from dropping it, stave off some scratches and in the worst case scenario try to prevent your iPhone from busting into pieces when it hits the concrete … its really just an added bonus, the cases look good.
Overall I found all of the cases I received to be really good at holding onto the iPhone tightly. I also found that while they did add some bulk to the phone, they didn’t make the phone any more uncomfortable to hold in your hand, and unlike so many other cases they don’t prevent you from using 100% of the screen real estate. Nothing bugs me more than trying to do something on the side of the screen and finding the case design prevents me from doing it easily. Every function of the device was also very easily accessible and the case stayed well out of the way on things like volume adjustment and pressing the lock button. Don’t plan on using the dock though… as with almost every other case on the market they just aren’t designed to fit into that form fitting dock.
Build quality was decent. I say decent – and not excellent for one reason only. On one of the cases I got, I personally think there could have been a little more work put into it to make the case a lot better on the corners. I might be getting just a little "nit-picky" but take a look –
Ok, so see what I mean? One of the things that makes this set of cases so good with the leather wrapping is that they took the effort to make sure the inner mold included the junction between the inside of the case and the outside… but when you do that the two intersecting parts need to come to a nice smooth joint, otherwise it ends up looking a tad shabby. With this particular case (not all of them mind you) the corners didn’t look very good. Again, maybe just being nit-picky but the quality could have been better.
I promised pictures, so hang on for just a little bit more info and then I’ll drop them on you. Quick wrap up goes like this… I really like the JAVOedge back case. I had only that one complaint to come up with, other than that this is a solid little product. The designs aren’t my style (never did care for butterflies or similar prints) but I think the selection is pretty good and I definitely think the product idea is great. I love the idea of having a solid case on my device, but one that doesn’t get in the way of the touch screen and doesn’t make me fight with a flap or a lid. Anyway, prices range from 10.95 to 19.95 depending on what version you get since there’s 4 different types (some rubber some leather). You can see them all at the JAVOedge Website.
