Lots of us had been wondering when Apple was going to start turning up the marketing efforts for the iPhone 3G, and when the TV ad showed off at the recent WWDC keynote from Steve Jobs would start getting some play on TV.

Apparently, today it has started airing on TV.  Maybe just a little amping up of the hype level as the last few days until launch tick away.  If you haven’t seen it yet, click the link above for a look – it’s a pretty good one …
