You can’t make stuff like this up. Seems that a small-ish group of people have started camping outside of the NYC Cube store in an effort to break the Guinness World Record for ‘waiting in line to buy something’… Sounds a little obscure to me, and I don’t even know if that’s an established record… but there you have it. At any rate, it looks like a group of about 10 or so people started waiting back on July 4th in anticipation of the new iPhone 3G. Once Friday rolls around, they will have been waiting for one week. Insane.
If there are any readers from NYC out there, I would LOVE it if you could get me some pictures, video or even an interview with these folks. I’d be happy to have a little phone interview with ’em 🙂 Those crazy kids…
