You can now start checking which exact models (colors / sizes) of iPhone 3G are available at specific Apple retail stores, via an Apple web page.
Just choose your state and glance down the list of stores featuring green lights / red lights to indicate whether each model is in stock or not.
For now of course all show all green and in stock, but starting tomorrow evening this should be a useful site for those still on the lookout for where to go get an iPhone 3G.
