Finally – eWallet Hits The App Store

Hurrah! After a week of being held firmly in some bizarre sort of Apple limbo-land without much clue as to what obscure bit of paperwork was causing a holdup, Ilium’s eWallet application has finally made it to the iPhone App Store.
The app has been ready to go since before the App Store launched, so this last week has been intensely frustrating to eWallet users, fans, and of course to Ilium, who make this leading password manager program.
Thankfully, that’s all done with now – and eWallet is now available. For those who are unfamiliar with the application, it has long been a leader in the digital wallet / password manager category on Palm and Windows Mobile, and winner of awards many times over for best in class in its category. It’s been my personal favorite password keeper app for many years, and I’m very happy to see it on the iPhone.
The iPhone app looks and works wonderfully well in my usage so far. An old favorite looking better than ever on a new platform ![]()
eWallet is available now at $9.99 in the Productivity category of the App Store.

cr@p!
I wish I have waited for this. I bought SplashID, and it’s not very good. Their “update” is now in Apples hand to be release (as they say). Syncing is crap, the desktop version is crap. Whew that’s a lot of crap… So, now I’m down $20 for getting SplashID (iphone/desktop version)…
And now, another $9.99 for eWallet…
Patrick, does it sync with the desktop version??
Thanks
Whoopsy, never mind about the syncing part. Not happening till mid-August…
Anywho, got the application, and it’s definitely $10.00 well spent.
I wonder if I could get a refund from SplashID…
LOL. I actually spent 19.95 for the desktop version…
That’s actually not funny….
*sigh*
Aczon – I’m cracking up, trying to keep up with your saga there – keep it coming
Now you got me confused!? eWallet does not sync (windows) but will somewhere mid-August?
Reading illium’s blog tells me that they are working on it, and will probably be available around mid-August. I believe it will be a free downloads for everyone who bought the iPhone version.
Sounds good, used ewallet on other plattforms already but without the possibility to enter data with a real keyboard or copy/paste it is no fun.
