A lot of folks had been hoping for support for the A2DP Bluetooth audio stack in the 3G iPhone. (A2DP allows for stereo music over Bluetooth in addition to the standard mono Bluetooth headset audio.) Unfortunately, Apple did not gratify this particular wish, but now Hong Kong-based accessory maker Brando is stepping to the gap with the INFINXX AP23.

Good news for those who’ve been longing for A2DP support on the iPhone, as long as you’re OK with an adapter.  Even if you’re not a big fan of the adapter concept, this one seems very compact and pretty subtle in its appearance.

The INFINXX AP23 goes for $62 plus shipping, and you can check out all its details and specs HERE

hubba hubba! I have to say I didn’t really give a crap about BT streaming until I got these logitech speakers for review. now I really, really wish the iPhone had a2dp support. I looked up both iPhone specs and they’re both BT 2.0 with EDR. I’m pretty damn sure we should be able to have a2dp then…must “not be high enough on the priority list”.

    Poop.
