I got excited when I noticed this one in the app store out there. Released earlier today, WordPress is now available for the iPhone and iPod Touch! I’m sure other bloggers in the ‘blogosphere’ will be tickled as well (well ok, only if they have an iPhone or Touch).
The new WordPress app for the iPhone is Open Source. It allows you to create an edit up your content on all of your WordPress blogs, now matter where you are. There is even built-in support for offline use. The app supports WordPress blogs 2.5.1 and higher.
Key Features:
- Get true previews of your posts via Safari.
- Full tag and category support
- Add pics to your blog via your built-in camera or from your library
- Support for multiple blogs
- Password protect your posts, save drafts, or mark posts for review at a later date
- An auto-recovery feature saves posts interrupted by incoming phone calls (cool!)
