Super Monkey Ball Hacked

According to a few reports, Apple’s Fairplay DRM, which protects applications downloaded via iTunes… has been hacked. The method of hacking it has been around for awhile, but only recently was applied to Super Monkey Ball and distributed on the net. There are other reports however that claim they could not get the game to work, so whether this hack is legitimate or not is still up in the air.

To try for yourself, you’ll need to jailbreak your iPhone, and get SSH installed. This will allow you to transfer the game and play with permissions to get it to work. Bottom line, if you’re a casual or light tech newb, you might not want to give it a try. But if you know your way around XCode and the command line… You can probably make it work.
