Ok knowledge sponges, here comes another great app for the iPhone just released by the folks at Modality Inc. Netter’s Neuroscience Flash Cards helps you enhance your understanding of key neuroscience concepts. Really, it does.
Why would you want to do that? Well, if you are studying to become a brain surgeon it could be helpful… But for most of us, including me… I simply find the subject fascinating… And this app makes learning about the brain fun.
The app contains 225 individual illustrations taken directly from Netter’s Atlas of Human Neuroscience. You can move and pinch to zoom all of these images. Tap the images to test your knowledge of bones, vessels, joints and more.
There is even a cool study mode that lets you explore images at your own pace. When you’re done studying, enter quiz mode to see how much you know.
Netter’s Neuroscience Flash Cards is a truly unique app. Knowledge is power. If you want to learn more about the human brain and neuroscience… You might want to give this one a try.
