On my iPhone: Moleskine for iPhone becomes Moleskinery(+)

Pretty near the top of the list of most used applications on my V1 iPhone was a jailbreak app from databinge called moleskine. Moleskine has been heavily covered and favored on JAiB and I figure while there’s not much sense in covering all the details again, but I wanted to let you know you can plan on a review coming up on this one. I’ve just ponied up my $12.99 for the (+) version of moleskinery and so far I can honestly say I’m glad I did… this is one of those familiar faces from the jailbreak community that I’m happy to see back on my homescreen.

Anyway, initial thoughts are this:

  • Great looking icons. Could use a few more choices but for a starting point they are really good
  • Clean, easy to use and understand interface
  • Photo notes are really easy, text entry is MUCH improved over the jailbreak version which tended to switch out of editing too easy
  • A little crashy. Don’t try to change icons repeatedly in quick succession. It will crash. But it saves all your data so nothing is lost. Had 3 crashes so far and they were all while changing icons or details.
  • Email of notes is nice. Emailing with attachments (photos or voice) not there. Really needs a way to do a full backup of all notes.

Here’s a couple screenshots to get you going:
