Golfers get ready for a new tool that will be VERY useful for your game. Released last week comes GreenFinder from Itinerant Software.
GreenFinder gives you accurate distances to the front, middle and back of each green you encounter on the course. Using the built-in GPS on your iPhone, GreenFinder provides you with distances you need to avoid the trouble and hit accurate shots. It also shows you how far it is to hazards and traps off the tee.
You can use the app for search for courses near you… and already over 3,000 courses are available with more being added all the time.
The only concern I have with the app, actually has nothing to do with the app at all. But unless you can grab a cart and play a fast 18, chances are you’ll drain your iPhone battery before you can finish out your 18. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I can see battery life as the only issue here. GPS puts a tad more demand on battery reserves!
Well worth the price at $34.99 when compared to other handheld GPS rangefinders out there.
