@mlass – First have you called Apple? If you haven’t then like I said please contact them. It is the job of their support people to work through the issue with you. Realistically if you’re on 2.0.2 – a restore has been found to not help you anyway. Maybe it helps for a little while but not for long as the problem tends to come back.

If you have contacted Apple and they aren’t helping you – try downgrading iTunes from 7.7.1 to plain old 7.7 — so far that seems to be the only actual fix.

Then what advice do you have for people with crashing apps and nothing but a restore fixes this issue (with update 2.0.2). I have exhausted all options.

It’s an Apple issue. They just plain suck.

I think it is a DRM issue. You can tell if only the native Apple and no third party apps run. If that is the case, go to the app store, download a free app and the DRM will be reset.
