Did you know that your iPhone takes screenshots of almost everything you do? Each time you hit the home button, change websites in Safari, or switch to landscape mode, it takes a screen capture.
Why? Well the iPhone does this to do all of those fancy transitions you see when you use your phone. To zoom in or flip, the iPhone needs those images to make the effect happen.
Apparently these screenshots don’t get completely deleted. Your iPhone quick-deletes them, but does not overwrite them. The concerning thing about this is someone could hack into your firmware to see what you’ve been doing on your iPhone. Probably not a good thing. I’m not sure if the new firmware update addresses this issue, but it certainly caught my attention.
