New MacBooks may already be on their way to Apple stores, claims analyst Richard Garner from Citigroup. ‘Field checks’ have suggested that the shipment process on new MacBooks has already started. He also has said that the new MacBook features a new, ‘very thin’ aluminum casing, LED backlighting, and a low entry-level price point… Which could be all the way down to $999 for the base MacBook.
If this is true, expect the previous version of the MacBook to go on sale. Look for that to happen sometime around October 14th.
This is all great news… But what I REALLY want to know, is when are we going to hear about new MacBook Pros? If anyone has any tips on this, feel free to comment or send them in!
