After a long day yesterday, I set my alarm, and placed my iPhone beside the bed. Batter was really low, somewhere around 10%, but I thought ‘well, if it runs out of charge…I might just get a little extra sleep!’. No biggie.
Sure enough, the phone did lose its charge overnight, and she was off. Once I plugged in the iPhone to my MBP, it needed to charge up for a good 10 minutes or so before it had enough juice to go ahead and open iTunes. What happen next has frustrated me!
When the phone syncs, I get ‘An unknown error occured (13014)’. Have tried reconnecting the phone multiple times, to no avail. Could it be that draining your iPhone to 0 charge has some consequences in the latest firmware? I haven’t done any research on this yet but the error seems mighty strange.
