Joe Minihane of Stuff.tv put up a decent video review of the MacBook. He makes some good points about the MacBook. One I’m not surprised about is how he was impressed with the build quality. The unibody enclosure, and fit and finish look really good to him. A different point that surprised me a bit was regarding the multitouch controls using the new glass trackpad. When demonstrating the trackpad he noted: ‘it does come across as a bit of a gimmick’. Me, I can’t say one way or the other as I haven’t tried it out for myself just yet. But watching him use the trackpad on the MacBook, it does look like it takes some getting used to.
