Dynolicious 2 is an application available on the iPhone and iPod Touch that offers an ‘automotive performance meter’. Sounds interesting? Well it is!
From developers BunsenTech LLP, Dynolicious 2 uses the built-in accelerometer of the device to impressively measure various performance metrics of a vehicle. Such as:
- 0-60 acceleration
- 1/4 mile elapsed time
- Lateral Gs
- Horsepower
- Friction circle
Many of you will be skeptical about how accurate this application is using just the accelerometer to produce these results, just like I was. However users claim that the application can measure a vehicle’s speed within 1-3mph!! That’s phenomenal! This application really opens your eyes and shows you what the iPhone can do.

Dynolicious 2 is available in the iTunes Store now for $12.99 and certainly seems worth the price tag. Many people have given this app a 5-star rating and claim the results are incredible. If you decide to try Dynolicious 2, please let us know what you think.
