Until now, in order to purchase an iPhone 3G in the US, you would need to get up, get dressed and leave the house. This is no longer the case as AT&T have quietly begun selling the iPhone online, and activation can be completed in the comfort of your own home.
The activation process for new customers is much the same as in-store, you will need your credit card details and your personal info. Unlike activation in the UK, AT&T customers will have the added benefit of being able to chat to an AT&T rep online if anything goes wrong.
If you want to get your order in and have your iPhone delivered before Christmas, you have 8 days from today to make your purchase and overnight shipping is free. Currently the iPhone is yet to become available for purchase in the Online Apple Store.
