Site Admin: I’ve Removed Our iPhone Sources Page, Added Shared Items Links

Just a quick bit of news on some small changes to the site …

I’ve taken down our ‘iPhone Sources’ page.  The page was out-oJust Another iPhone Blogf-date and I’ve just never found the time to keep it more constantly up-to-date, or format it better, and so forth.

Since there are some really excellent source listings out there that are maintained very well, I think it is now better to refer you all to one that I consider the best resource in this area now:

Apple iPhone School iPhone Sources Listing

I’ve also added a new feature in our sidebar that I hope may be of some  interest for some folks: I’ve added a widget that shows (and provides links to) my Google Reader Shared Items.  These are all the articles that have caught my interest amongst all the (nearly 200) RSS feeds that I subscribe to.  Some of these are iPhone-related items, some are about more general mobile tech or general tech stories, and some are just random stuff I think is funny or notable in some other way.  I subscribe to several of my friends’ Google Reader Shared Items feeds, and find them a cool way to catch fun / interesting stuff I missed out on the web each day – hopefully mine will serve the same sort of purpose.

You can find the shared items links in the sidebar widget shown in the screencap to the right here.

One last thing to note.  I’m (well) aware of the problem with the Post Ratings system (it keeps showing much lower average ratings than are actually entered) and I will either get that fixed soon, or just disable the plugin if I can’t make it work right.

Hope everyone is already off work and enjoying family and holidays …
