While the headphones do include an inline volume control, there is no mic and–perhaps more importantly–no integrated iPod controls, which are a major selling point for its relative.

@JoeT – They are quite similar. I think maybe by the same manufacturer… just a couple different options chosen. Looks like you got a good deal on them either way, because CNet showed them for $50 and another mention shows them at $30. Still $15 is great especially if they’re of the same quality!

This is both excellent and depressing news. I bought the very similar Rivet headphones a while back and LOVE them – mostly for the loop-around-the-neck feature, which allows me to simply “pop-and-drop” the buds out of my ears when I don’t need them in. However, Rivet stopped selling them – and perhaps this is why. They look similar enough that I suspect the product line was sold to Zagg.

The bad part? I bought mine for $15.00. $80? OUCH.
