iPhone 3.0 Coming This Summer?

A brief look into what’s coming this summer from Apple. Kind of expected but nonetheless, cool to hear. David Pogue of the New York Times managed to get some info from Phil Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. He simply dropped a hint about the iPhone’s ‘life cycle’… and it pretty much confirms what we were all thinking, since there was no iPhone news at Macworld this past week:

…the holiday season (Novemberish), the educational buying season (late summer), the iPod product cycle (October), the iLife development cycle (usually March), the iPhone cycle (June).

So, do you think we’ll get the iPhone 3.0 this summer? Would make perfect sense to me. If not this summer… Perhaps next January at Macworld… eeeerrmmmm…. ummm… wait… Apple won’t be there…. CES? Town Hall Event? Let the speculation begin! 🙂
