Featured iPhone Theme: Lea (by pixelnoise)

Posted on 27 Jan 2009 by Thomas

Ooo, neat! I really like the look of this one and I think this might be the one I stick with. I do wish Cydia or Winterboard made it a bit easier to browse through the various themes and uninstall them without going into each one, but it ‘s all free and I know Saurik is busy, so this isn ‘t a complaint :P .

Onto the celebratory pictures:

Hit the jump for more pics. I took pics of as many aspects of the theme as I could, and although they ‘re really purdy they just won ‘t fit on the front page!

I love the theme for its super minimal design scheme. But it doesn ‘t do eschew colour altogether, which I also love. Another thing it does is actually re-size all the icons you have, so you won ‘t really find any icon that looks out of place just because it doesn ‘t have a special theme icon yet.

Another thing that really surprised me is the loading screen before applications (see the ‘photos ‘ pic above).

The only complaint i have about the theme is the menu and the look of the calendar. You can see the menu buttons are this black font, but it might be a bug. The calendar isn ‘t quite my style either. I ‘m looking to replace those aspects of the theme, but I ‘m pretty new to this. If anybody has any suggestions on how to replace those parts, or what to replace them with, I ‘m all ears.

You can find the Lea Winterboard theme under the Complete Themes section in Cydia.
