I love Grolsch; it’s been one of my very favorite lagers for ages – and of course it has the coolest bottles ever. I also like air hockey a heck of a lot. So the new Grolsch Game for iPhone – described as a ‘uber cool version of air hockey’ – has instant and big appeal for me.
The game plays much like other air hockey games on the iPhone. It’s maybe not quite as fast as one other I’ve tried, but it plays well and has quite nice sound effects.
It also tracks high scores, which is always a bonus.

You can play one player or two player modes, with the first to reach seven goals being the winner.
There’s a sort of proof of age (or more like prove you can do the math and pretend you’re 18) screen when you first launch the app – presumably so that it is not seen to promote under-age drinking.
So anyway – if you are over 18, and you like the idea of air hockey on the iPhone, hugely enhanced by scenery reminding you of a long, cold Grolsch, then you may like the Grolsch Game as much as I do.
