TimeLapse is a new iPhone application that helps to create time lapse photo sequences – by automating the operation of the iPhone’s camera.
The app lets you configure the following parameters:
- Period between photos (from 24 hours down to the limit of the iPhone’s abilities – around 10 seconds)
- Start time by timer or date
- End time by photo count, timer, or date
- Photo size (large, medium, small)
TimeLapse stores its photos in the iPhone’s photo library – so you can sync them across to a computer and use QuickTime Pro, iMovie, or similar apps to create a time lapse movie.
There are some example time lapse movies at the developer’s site, HERE – and tips for getting best results (and even on using it as an ‘ad-hoc surveillance camera’) on its App Store page.
TimeLapse is out now in the App Store, and costs $0.99
