Killer Pool for iPhone Now Has a ‘Lite’ (free) Version

I’ve been meaning to get a review done on Killer Pool for several weeks now, and will do very soon. Here’s a very quick spoiler and synopsis though – if you like pool, this game kicks arse and takes names. It has definitely taken my name, as I whip the computerized competitors in its ‘Local Tournament’ mode which is a ton of fun. 🙂

The full version is worth every penny of its $2.99 price tag – but it’s still great to see a Lite / free version, as hopefully this will help more people discover a top game.

Here’s a little more detail on Killer Pool Lite:

Killer Pool Lite includes the classic US pool game of 9-Ball.
Featuring:
Accurate and easy to use controls.
Shoot using finger swipe, or power meter.
Authentic spin and swerve.
Realistic physics.
Rich, lifelike graphics.
Play your own music in the back ground.
Official APA 9 Ball rules.
Customisable table graphics and lighting.

And on what you get in the full version:

Getting the full version will give you:
US 8 BALL
UK BLACK BALL (Eight Ball).
KILLER – The classic multiplayer game for up to 10 players.
OCTOKILLER – A Unique version of Killer played on an octagonal table, where players eliminate each other by sinking their balls, with the last remaining player victorious.
Multiple opposition players of varying skill.
Single player, 2 player or multiplayer modes.
Tournament modes: Local comp and World Championship.
“resume game” to return to your previous game at any point.
In game “buy” button removed.

So, to sum up – great game, now has a free version that you should check out – HERE– and my lazy arse will soon be getting a review together on the full version. 🙂
