We’ve said it before, and we’ll surely be saying it again soon – Google just keeps on bringing more good stuff to the iPhone, and at a very hectic pace so far in 2009.
Today they’ve announced that access to spreadsheets in Google Docs on the iPhone (and Android and S60) has just been improved in a huge way. Spreadsheets are no longer view only on the iPhone. You can now edit, sort and filter your spreadsheets as well!
I’ve just given this a very quick little test run on my iPhone – and it works well, with changes made on the iPhone reflected just about instantly on my desktop browser, without even refreshing the page. You need to do a fair bit of horizontal scrolling to edit things in some of your columns of course, but for heavy spreadsheet warriors this should be very good news.
