I ‘ve been doing that thing where you try to tweak your iPhone setup to make it as fast as possible while trying to add things that Apple just didn ‘t think you ‘d want “ in short, I ‘ve been exploring Cydia and Installer a bit more lately. One of the nuggets that floated to the surface (eww, that sounds gross now that I say it out loud) has been QuickGold, and it ‘s been quite a find so far!

I ‘m not claiming this to be live breaking news at all “ I assume a lot of you jailbroken folk out there know about this program already, but that won ‘t stop me from yammering on about it like it ‘s the next gen iPhone OS. Heck, you can even just type in a URL and then press GO to launch. It means you don ‘t ever have to touch that top bar in Safari again.

The app is free, but ad-supported. The ads are pretty darn unobtrusive though, so there ‘s really nothing for me to complain about here. Well, that ‘s not right. I want to complain about something why didn ‘t I know about this app sooner?!
