For years I’ve always wanted the behemoth 30″ cinema display for my office. I’ve worked on it many times in the past, and each time I sit down in front of it, my jaw drops just a bit in amazement of the size and desktop space it gives you. With recent news that Apple is dropping the 20″ cinema display, with the 30″ model more than likely to follow… one has to wonder two things:
- Will new back lit LED models be released in 20″ and 30″ sizes to join the already brand new 24″ model?
- Will this mean discounts on the old 20″ and 30″ cinema displays, or, will they actually go up in price due to their limited availability?
Hopefully I’m not alone in wanting a 30″ display at an affordable price. I have a feeling however that we will not see a drop in price for the soon-to-be discontinued 30″ models… and any new model that may be introduced will be worth a pretty penny for sure.
