In reply to IMuser. this sale is actually from a year ago -- and having used Meebo, I still like Beejive more. However, Meebo is a pretty kickass client, and it is amazing that it's free.

The reason they are putting it on sale is because Meebo just came out and it’s FREE. Duh.

I gave up on Frings because it does drain a lot of battery even when running on background. The battery of the iPhone least only for a few hours. I might try this one though.

Fring is still around and still free, but Beejive was a LOT faster last time I checked. The landscape mode is also a real boon.

I don’t spend an inordinate amount of time on IM, but I’ve spent a good 30-60 mins in a day on Beejive popping in and out and I didn’t notice a huge battery drain.

For anybody even remotely curious about Beejive, put those doubts aside and drop (ye cash) like it’s hot (ye coals). If you use IM at all it’s a fantastic application to have on the iPhone — really makes messaging enjoyable.
