I would like to first say that BounceIt was Created by a 13 year old young man! My hat goes off to this young man for his hard work in making this application.
This is a simple application that is a spin-off of one of the first PC games ever made – Pong. It has a great look and nice feel to the game but it is missing a few key things that a simple update could provide to make this a top notch game.
The game is only built for two player mode or as the advertisement says,”have a battle between your thumbs to see if your right or your left will be victorious”. Would be great to play against the computer and have different levels of strength. Second the game play starts out way too slow as it seemed like it took forever to get up to a challenging speed. Last I would like to see more levels with changing screens or backgrounds with each new level.
What I did like was the fact you can listen to your ipod while playing this game, which was great. Also the graphics that are used in the game are very well done for such a simple game.
I would say if the young inventor decided to put out an update soon with a few minor changes this would be a great Pong-style game – but for now it’s a good starting point to build from.
