The processor the new Mac mini is no longer replaceable. The thing is soldered right on the motherboard.
In the previous model of Mac mini the processor was placed in a valve, so it was possible to remove it. Because of that it was possible of executing a processor-upgrade. With the current Mac mini this is no longer possible. But it’s still possible to expand the memory yourself. When there has been place 2GB of memory, the video memory automatically increases from 128 to 256MB. And last but not least, you can remove the optical drive from the new Mac mini. By doing so, there’s enough space to insert a second hard drive.
Some people always want better and better, be happy with what you get. Like it isn’t amazing enough?!
