Every day is a historical day, because on each date something special happened. iFacts is a new application of Dutch origin. It shows you why today is a special day. Who was born today? Are there any commemorations today? Was there some important invention made? iFacts puts in all on a row, divided in 22 different categories. Those categories are wide: war, culture, sports, music, politics, but also birth- and dying days of famous people. iFacts is an application to boot up briefly every day, just to see what makes today so special. It’s probably also the first Dutch iPhone-application with a special security. If the application gets installed illegally, you can only boot it about 8 times, and functions are limited. Then the application is useless. Yesterday seemed that an other iPhone-application uses the same method to prevent illegal use: Full Screen Web Browser quits after 10 times.
iFacts contains about 44,000 facts and is completely Dutch. The application is created by the same developer of iStart and iHome.
