Palm Doesn’t Have Their Investor’s Back on Recent Trash Talking

Posted on 11 Mar 2009 by PatrickJ

The statement in the second paragraph of the article that ‘not one ‘ person who bought an Apple, Inc. iPhone on the first shipment date ‘will still be using an iPhone a month ‘ after the two-year anniversary of that day is an exaggerated prediction of consumer behavior pattern and is withdrawn.

A few days back we told you about how one of Palm ‘s lead investors had done some serious trash talking about how all original iPhone owners would be abandoning it and flocking to the Palm Pre come the end of June.

It hasn ‘t taken long at all for Palm to make clear they don ‘t have their man ‘s back on this one.  See their retraction statement at the top of this post for clear evidence of that.  That ‘s taken from some additional information provided by Palm in a recent SEC filing.

I ‘m thinking they might want to start getting on the same page leading up to the Pre ‘s launch
