Apple has scheduled a media event for March 17th. The event will focus on iPhone OS 3.0.
Now there ‘s a sweet rumor to get our heads round today. Just spotted a short post on this at everything iCafe, who apparently spotted it via a tweet from Michael Gartenberg.
Since Apple has taled publicly about June being the ‘iPhone resfresh cycle ‘ time of year, it seems plausible that they might start talking about the next big OS update around now, and maybe even tell us a bit about the next iPhone model.

Apple has just sent out invitations to a special media event on March 17. The invite-only event is geared towards the new iPhone SDK, Apple says, and will give the media a "sneak peek" at the iPhone OS 3.0 software.
