New Apps: Swimsuit Calendar 2009
Swimsuit Calendar 2009 has an extremely short App Store description
Then again, it probably doesn ‘t need much more description than that. It ‘s got 12 swimsuit pics to accompany the months of the year “ and that ‘s about it. No options or settings or extra bells or whistles come with the app for now “ and the calendar is not a usable one, it is just to look at.
It would be a lot better if apps like this could integrate with the built-in calendar application “ but I ‘m assuming Apple does not allow that.
I ‘d say this calendar is not quite up to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition standard, but it ‘s certainly not unpleasant to look at.
Swimsuit Calendar 2009 is in the App Store now, and it ‘s free right now (though apparently for ‘a limited time only ‘).
Just FYI Patrick – Your assumption is correct. Apple doesn’t allow you to touch the calendar at all in the SDK. You even look at it funny and they send the AppGestapo to your house and start threatening you with rejection emails =)
Can you hack into it?
I don’t think anyone has at this point… unless you’re using an unlocked device. The frameworks are surely there – Apple just hasn’t allowed access to them
