Bargain Bin iPhone app

Hey “ here ‘s an app that offers to do something we can all relate to “ save us money on iPhone apps!

Bargain Bin promises to let you know as soon as an item goes on sale and its features include:

  • Sale prices updated ‘as they happen ‘
  • Price tags that indicate when apps are Free or Bargains (50% off or greater)
  • Filters that let you see Free apps only, Bargain apps only, or All apps on sale
  • Browsing by app categories, or all bargains
  • Browse only popular apps that have gone on sale

I ‘ve been giving Bargain Bin a look for just a few minutes, and I like it so far.  Its interface is a little busy, but colorful and still easy to navigate.

I love all the browsing and filtering options it presents “ by categories, by only free apps and the others mentioned above.  This makes it very easy to home in on items of most interest to you

I also like that you can look at the list of bargain items and with one tap on an item, get straight to its description page.

There are RSS feeds out there which will keep you informed on bargains like this as well, but I haven ‘t seen anything that can match the convenience and speed of having this all available and nicely organized in a single app.

I can see this becoming an every day, essential app for me.

You can check out a funny demo video for Bargain Bin HERE “ and find the app itself in the App Store now, and it ‘s free.

I have been finding a lot of apps that are posted as free on bargainbin but when I open the app in the app store it still shows they are charging for the app. This seems to be happening quite often lately.
