Some bizarro apps are comical (at least to me), and some, like TweetFollow, just leave me shaking my head. Here is the app ‘s description:
TweetFollow is an incredibly simple yet functional utility application, allowing you to follow new friends on Twitter with a minimum number of taps! Just enter your Twitter ID and Password (these are stored locally on the device only, and removed when you delete the application or logout), then type the Twitter ID of your new friend. Its that simple! Great for Twestivals, Tweetups or general networking events. Dispense with the need to accumulate business cards and send tiresome follow up emails, with TweetFollow!
In other words, it provides *one* very standard feature offered by any of the many iPhone Twitter apps, with none of the other functionality, features, or even any basic Twitter client ability.
It ‘s a Twitter app for folks who know nothing about Twitter apps. Fair enough, it ‘s a free app “ but why anyone who knows about “ or uses “ Twitter would take up home screen space with a single-feature app like this is beyond me
