Kevin Rose – founder of Digg.com, all-round internet star, and always a good source of future iPhone predictions “ has come out with his (apparently very educated, via a trusted source) guesses for iPhone OS 3.0. He talked about these at a special SXSW Diggnation event.
The parts that sound good “ copy & paste will be included and the iPhone will get ‘up to speed with the Palm Pre ‘.
The part that doesn ‘t (and that contradicts the latter part of the first point) – no background apps.
No background apps does not equal being up to speed with the Pre.
Copy & paste would be great to see, of course, but for me background apps is much more important, much higher on the wish list.
Here ‘s hoping Kevin is right on the both parts of the first point, and wrong on the last, contradictory, bit.
