Our 15 Minutes of App Store Fame
In the past few days I ‘ve spotted the first mentions (or the first mentions I know about) of Just Another iPhone Blog (JAiB) in the App Store. The first place I spotted a mention of JAiB was on the description page for one of the apps I mentioned as a ‘bizarro app ‘, iChainsaw.
Within just a couple days after noticing that one, I came across two apps that we ‘d given strong reviews to mentioning us as well. One of them is SmashWord, one of my favorite iPhone word games “ shown in the above screencap.
The other app I noticed mentioning us is Binary Game “ another favorite iPhone game for me (even though it involves numbers and math)
Naturally, I ‘m very happy to see our site mentioned within the App Store. I ‘m happy because I hope it serves to draw a little attention to the site, but also because I genuinely believe that sites like this one, and many others, that provide good, honest reviews of iPhone apps are a very good resource for iPhone users.
Anyway, there you go “ we ‘ve got our 15 minutes of App Store fame “ and we ‘ll be doing our best to milk it and maybe even extend it out to 25 minutes or so
