Along with many others, I ‘ve been keen to see this one for quite a while. Pocket Informant “ a leading PIM (personal information manager) application for years on Windows Mobile and other mobile platforms “ has finally made it into the iPhone App Store.
I used PI on Windows Mobile “ it was an essential app for me for many years. On the iPhone I use separate apps for each PIM component “ tasks, contacts, calendar “ so I ‘ll be giving this a good look to see how it stacks up on iPhone OS.
I just downloaded it minutes ago “ so no impressions at all yet, apart from being glad to see it. The app has a ‘premium ‘ sort of price “ but it offers all-in-one PIM functionality, sync with Google Calendar and Toodledo (for tasks), and if it ‘s anything like the WinMo version, tons of power and features.
Pocket Informant is in the App Store now, and costs $12.99.
