A very reliable source has released some rumors of how the next iPhone will have some video recording capabilities. This rumor is backed by a AT&T communications conference where they mentioned the release of HSPA 7 sometime in 2009. This new network would deliver speeds of over 20 megabits per second! It is also possible that Apple will have a new “movie” app that will have the capabilities to edit your videos right on your iPhone. I’m guessing the same features of iMovie, which would be amazing.
Unfortunately, there are also rumors that the video functionality of the iPhone will only be offered on a higher-end model of the phone. I guess we will find out sometime later this year if Apple announces the new iPhone.
